Inle Heritage began as a place to house the Burmese cats and transformed into a foundation for preserving Inle Lake’s nature and culture.
Location: Inle Heritage is in the middle of Inle Lake, a lake renowned for its beauty and the unique culture and way of life of those who live there. Inle Lake is in Shan State, the verdant eastern part of Myanmar that borders Thailand. It’s just a short flight from Yangon.It is best to fly to Heho. There are frequent flights from Yangon and Mandalay and even from Bagan. From Heho we can arrange a car to take you the 45 minutes to Nyaungshwe. After that it’s a one-hour trip by boat across the lake to Inle Heritage.

Hotel Facilities: Inle Heritage is an intimate place to stay. There are just six bungalows, each perched on stilts above the water and surrounded by the lake and the organic vegetable gardens. A beautiful wooden walkway connects the bungalows with the restaurant and the lounge.
