Location: This beach is located in the state of Rakhine or Rakhaing in Western Myanmar facing the Bay of Bengali. Thandwe (Sandoway during British time) is about 25 minutes’ drive from the Resort and 15 minutes’ drive from the airport.

Room Facilities: The Beach Front Cottages are one-and-a-half-story teak bungalows offering views of the Bay of Bengal. The more luxuriously appointed villas boast stunning design features. The room facilities include mini bar, shower with hot/cold water, hairdryer and safety box.

Hotel Facilities: The resort has an in-house library and sunset terrace (bar) in a building that overlooks a spectacular swimming pool and the sea. Other facilities include restaurants, laundry, email, souvenir shop and library. The kitchen serves European and Asian cuisine which guests can savor al fresco on a spacious deck overlooking the white sand beach.

Sport & Spa: The Sandoway’s spa offers guests a retreat to soak away their cares to the calming sound of the running water and soft, background music. The resort has swimming pool and bicycle rental service.
