Big news for anyone planning a trip to Thailand in 2025! Starting 1 May 2025, Thailand is launching a new digital system for all non-Thai nationals entering the country: the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC).
Whether you’re arriving by air, land, or sea, this new requirement will apply to you—so here’s everything you need to know before you go!
What is TDAC?
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is a streamlined online registration system that replaces the old paper arrival forms. Designed to make your entry smoother, faster, and more secure, TDAC simplifies the immigration process for all international visitors.
When Do You Need to Register?
You must complete your TDAC registration within 3 days before your arrival in Thailand. That means you can’t register weeks in advance—it has to be shortly before your travel date.

TDAC is your new travel essential!
TDAC is mandatory from 1 May 2025 for all non-Thai travelers. While the preferred method is to register online before arrival, travelers can also complete the form at designated digital kiosks at the airport upon landing in Thailand. To ensure a faster and smoother immigration process, we strongly advise completing the form ahead of your journey.
Why This Is a Good Thing
Thailand is making it easier than ever for visitors to arrive and enjoy their trip. With TDAC:
- No more paper forms on the plane or at border crossings
- Faster processing at immigration counters
- Enhanced data security and reduced queue times
Plan Ahead, Travel Smoothly
As your trusted travel partner, we’re here to keep you informed and make your trip seamless. So if you’re traveling to Thailand on or after May 1, 2025, make sure TDAC is part of your pre-departure checklist.
