BAGAN TEMPLE MARATHON
Hundreds of marathon enthusiasts around the world will travel again to Myanmar and Bagan for the Bagan Temple Marathon held on 26th November 2016. Bagan is perhaps the most stunning marathon destination in Asia. The route is mix of paved roads, small dirt tracks passing through the archeological area full of temples.
November is particularly pretty time to visit when the nature is lush after rainy season. The run options here are full marathon and half marathon.

November is festival season time in Myanmar. One of the most amazing spectacles is the Taunggyi Balloon Festival held on full moon day. Fire balloons made of bamboo paper are launched to sky day and night. During the day animal figured balloons are launched and in the evening groups of young men compete with their massive fireballoons rising high and launching fireworks.
