On October 28th, the national carrier Myanmar Airways International (MAI) received a new A320-200 aircraft. The new 280 seat plane will be used to expand the airlines current routes and to add new destinations. MAI will begin flights between Yangon and Hong Kong by the end of the year and will launch a new domestic route from Mandalay to Gaya in November.
