New Luxury Boat Operator InDevi Boats has launched in Inle Lake. The tours depart from Nyaung Shwe, North of Inle Lake, and operator a number of different itineraries around the lake. InDevi Boats uses custom built traditional Inle Lake boats which feature functional and ecofriendly design modifications. The boats are made from reclaimed teak wood and offer guest’s larger and more comfortable seating with extended leg room. They have also been fitted with low noise engines to combat noise pollution on the waters of Inle Lake and to make the journeys more pleasant for passengers. Each InDevi boat can carry up to six passengers, and all passengers are provided with an umbrella, raincoat (during the rain season), bottle of water and a life jacket for safety.
