Myanmar National Airlines previously known as Myanma Airways has done complete re-branding and restructuring during the last year and have upgraded much of its fleet and services. MNA flies currently to 30 domestic destinations in Myanmar and has fleet of 12 aircraft which are mostly ATR propeller planes.
The airline made decision early 2014 to go international and made agreement with GECAS for 10 Boeing 737’s. The first aircraft arrived in mid June 2015 and next two will be delivered in 2016 and fourth in 2017.
MNA will be flag carrier and fourth Myanmar airline to fly international routes in addition to MAI, Golden Myanmar Airlines and Air Bagan.
Myanmar National Airline will first start flying to Singapore and will announce early 2016 other Asia-Pacific destinations to follow.
