A new ferry service is expected to be launched between Yangon and Myeik in February 2017. The journey will take approximately 10 hours. Tickets will include breakfast and lunch. The ferry will run every two days, docking for one day at each harbor before returning. The ferries can accommodate up to 365 people with seating spread across two levels.
