Just opened for business in Yangon heritage quarter, The Rangoon Tea House is a charming establishment located on the 2nd floor of an old colonial building on the corner of Pansodan and Merchant street and diagonal from the famous Sofaer building. The Rangoon Tea House serves some of the most popular Myanmar dishes with a twist. This is a good place to sample some of the most common Myanmar dishes such as “La Phet” tea leaf salad, “Mohingar”, or “Onyh Khaw Suay” coconut noodles soup and also try one or two of the 16 different teas that are part of Burmese tradition and heritage.
