CORON ISLAND Travel Guide
Where dramatic limestone cliffs meet crystal-clear waters—Coron Island is nature’s masterpiece, perfect for those who seek luxury in the wild.
The primary gateway to Coron Island is via Busuanga Airport (Francisco B. Reyes Airport), with direct daily flights from Manila, Cebu, and Clark. Upon arrival, a short 30–45 minute van transfer takes you to Coron Town on Busuanga Island. From there, island-hopping boats, private speedboats, and resort transfers whisk guests across the turquoise waters to Coron Island and its surrounding coves, dive sites, and lakes.
Coron Town is best explored by tricycle, motorbike, or private van, while access to the island’s attractions is primarily by boat. Private bangkas (outrigger boats) or luxury speedboats are available for customized day tours and scenic island-hopping. For those staying at high-end island resorts, transfers and guided excursions are usually arranged directly. Many of Coron’s most stunning lagoons, lakes, and reefs are accessible only by water, making boat travel essential to fully explore the region.
