PALAWAN Travel Guide
Where nature’s masterpiece meets luxury—Palawan is not just a destination, it’s a feeling of awe, serenity, and wonder.
Palawan is accessible by air from major cities in the Philippines. The most common entry points are Puerto Princesa International Airport (serving central Palawan), El Nido Airport (Lio), and Busuanga Airport (for Coron). Flights from Manila, Cebu, and Clark are frequent and operated by major local airlines such as Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and AirSwift. For international travelers, the fastest route is to fly into Manila or Cebu and connect with a domestic flight. For more exclusive access, private charters and helicopter transfers to luxury island resorts are available.
Getting around Palawan depends on your base. In Puerto Princesa and El Nido, tricycles and vans are common for local travel. For exploring the islands, boat transfers and island-hopping tours are essential. In Coron, you’ll rely on bangkas (local boats) and motorbikes for transport. For guests staying at luxury resorts, transfers are often arranged by the property, including private boats or seaplanes. For a seamless and stylish experience, private yacht charters and guided excursions can also be arranged.
