EL NIDO Travel Guide
El Nido is where raw beauty meets refined luxury — a place where turquoise lagoons, secret beaches, and towering limestone cliffs create a paradise made for the discerning explorer.
El Nido is accessible by air and land. The fastest way is to fly into El Nido Airport (Lio Airport) from Manila or Cebu via direct flights operated by select airlines. Alternatively, you can fly into Puerto Princesa International Airport, about a 5 to 6-hour scenic drive from El Nido. Private transfers, shuttle vans, or buses connect Puerto Princesa to El Nido, offering comfortable and reliable options.
Getting around El Nido is mostly done by tricycles and motorbikes for short distances within town. For island hopping and exploring the Bacuit Archipelago, boats and traditional bangkas (outrigger boats) are the main modes of transport, often arranged through tour operators or resorts. Private boat charters are also available for a more exclusive and luxurious experience. Walking is possible around the town center, where shops, restaurants, and beaches are nearby.
