KOH RONG TOURS & HIGHLIGHTS

Tucked away in the turquoise waters off Cambodia’s southern coast, Koh Rong is a tropical paradise of powdery white sands, lush jungle interiors, and luxury beachfront escapes. With its laid-back atmosphere and postcard-perfect scenery, the island offers an idyllic blend of barefoot luxury and unspoiled nature. Whether you’re lounging at an exclusive resort, diving among vibrant coral reefs, or cruising on a private catamaran, Koh Rong is the ultimate destination for travelers seeking seclusion, sophistication, and sun-drenched serenity. Let the island’s natural beauty and upscale charm redefine your beach holiday.

Where luxury meets island serenity—Koh Rong is where time slows down, and every moment is kissed by sun, sea, and silence.

Koh Rong, Cambodia’s second-largest island, has a history that mirrors its tranquil beauty and quiet evolution. Once home to small fishing communities, the island remained largely untouched for decades, its dense jungles and pristine beaches known only to locals and a few adventurous travelers. In the early 2000s, Koh Rong began to open up to tourism, attracting visitors with its powdery white sands, turquoise waters, and laid-back atmosphere. Despite a rise in development in recent years, much of the island still retains its rustic charm, with eco-resorts and community-led initiatives helping to balance growth with conservation.

Koh Rong is accessible via ferry from the mainland coastal city of Sihanoukville, Cambodia. Travelers can reach Sihanoukville by flight from Phnom Penh or Siem Reap, or by overland transport. From the Sihanoukville port, multiple speedboat and ferry operators offer daily services to Koh Rong, with journey times ranging from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the boat and sea conditions. Most ferries arrive at Koh Toch, the island’s main village and transport hub, but private transfers to specific resorts can also be arranged.

Koh Rong has limited infrastructure and no cars, making boat taxis and walking the primary means of getting around. Longtail boats are commonly used for transfers between beaches and to nearby islands, while jungle trekking paths connect some parts of the island on foot. For guests staying at resorts, many offer boat shuttles and guided excursions to explore the island’s more secluded beaches and snorkeling spots.
